Unparalleled service
"A stitch above the rest." The staff at Midwest Sewing and Vacuum Center takes this credo to heart offering unparalled service.
Where can you try out a top-of-the-line Bernina sewing machine before taking it home? Midwest Sewing and Vacuum Center, of course.
And, where else can you take a vacuum home and see how it works on your own carpet before committing to a purchase? "We let you try out the sewing machines or vacuums before you make the investment," says Owner Kenneth Heinrich.
Heinrich says he believes when a company sells a product it should back that product completely. "We only sell the best in sewing machines and vacuums, and we service what we sell," he says. "We help from finding a new vacuum bag to cleaning and repairs of your sewing machines and vacuums."
In addition, the staff takes pride in offering the best customer service possible. "If a customer is buying $3 worth of needles or a $5,000 sewing machine, she is a valued customer," Heinrich says.
Midwest Sewing and Vacuum Center opened its doors in 1955. Heinrich has worked at store since 1964. While other staff members boast more than 35 years of service. "Midwest Sewing is a great place to work. We have terrific customers," says Janie Schoenborn, Heinrich's assistant.
Midwest Sewing and Vacuum Center also sells Sun Cloud Portable Heaters. "We've sold more than 4,000 of them," Heinrich says. "Our customers love them. The heaters help reduce heating bills tremendously."
The shop also sells embroidery and quilting machines by Happy and Handi Quilter. For information, call (316) 262-3438 or visit www.midwestsewing.net
