Professional Hearing Aid

Quality hearing aids discount prices

Professional Hearing Aid Service opened at 851 N. West Street in 1989. Today, Wichita natives Paul, Danny and David Roark operate the business. Brothers Paul and Danny are both state licensed as hearing aid dispensers and Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Science. Paul's son David - now married with two children - grew up in the business; he is state licensed and manages the company's manufacturing and repair lab.

The year it opened, Professional Hearing Aid Service patented the Comfortone name and formally registered with the FDA to manufacture hearing aids. As the area's only manufacturer their mission was to make hearing aids available at discount prices that more individuals could afford. A hearing aid sold by most companies at $600 to $2,400 could be offered at $300 or less and custom-built the same day at Professional Hearing Aid Service.

Times have changed and hearing aids have as well. Advancements have resulted in many new choices and consequently much confusion to the consumer. Professional Hearing Aid Service's mission has not changed however. The endeavor is to educate the individual and still reduce the cost to the lowest prices typically available in the industry. Hundreds and in many cases, even thousands of dollars are discounted off MSRP.

Professional Hearing Aid Service repairs and dispenses most brands and types of hearing aids. Most of their most advanced digital hearing aids are available in the $900 to $1,600 range. Advanced hearing aids offer many features to enhance speech understanding while reducing unwanted background noise. Other hearing aids are available starting from $295. Trial periods are offered to guarantee satisfaction and hearing tests are free, by appointment, at (316) 942-4992.
